Memorial Day Flags in Sacajawea Park

Every Memorial Day here in Livingston, our local American Legion post lines the road through our large town park, Sacajawea Park, with American Flags. There is also a display of crosses with the names of local servicemen who served in our nation’s military. It’s a somber reminder about the true meaning of the holiday. Memorial Day isn’t just about a three-day weekend and grilling out, it’s a moment to stop and say remember those who sacrificed all for our country.
